Welcome to our online Patchwork and Quilting shop.
I am back from our fabulous two weeks in Bali with a great tan and I cant wait to get sewing again.
It is always lovely to go on holidays, but there is no place like home!
We have a large range of in-store specials at the moment, ALL Flannels are at 50% off marked price and we also have a lot of $10 per metre specials. If you are planning a vist to the shop check these out for some great bargains. Sorry! these are not available on line.
I am in the process of loading all the DMC range of cottons onto the website, should be able to fit a lot of these in a normal envelope and stamp.
WHATS NEW.
WOW! We have forty new William Morris fabrics just arrived and still another collection to come in a couple of months. If you are a William Morris fan check them out. I think we are now the biggest stockists of William Morris Fabrics in Australia!
The full range of DMC Embroidery Cottons have arrived and I plan to increase the range of
Cross-Stitch patterns and Stitcheries in the coming months.
If you are a "Fusions" fan, we now have most of them in stock with more arriving weekly. These will be a permanent Collection in our shop as are the "Marbelous", "Jinny Beyer" and 'Blenders" ranges. The easy way to see these is to look them up in Collections.
With everyone trying to cut costs these days, instead of sending your quilts out to be quilted, why not try the new Pounce pad with one of our large range of quilting stencils and do your own quilting. These tools make quilting much easier, more fun to do and you can get a proffessional looking finish for much less cost!.
We have just had a big re-arrange in the shop and while we were shifting fabric, discovered we have a reasonable range of old CIVIL WAR and REPRODUCTION fabrics, which I will be putting onto the website in the next few days. So if you are a Civil War fan keep an eye out for these "out of production" fabrics. We also have several new Civil War books. I am planning to add more depending on when I am able to get them.
Barabara Brackmans new range of Reproduction fabrics "Civil War Crossing" and some "Climbing Jacobs Ladder" have arrived. We also have Layer Cakes of this range, what a fabulous way to get a piece of the whole range with out spending too much!
We now have a range of pre-cut Paper Templates for English Piecing, from Hexagons to Dresden Plate.
If there is a size you require that is not listed , just contact us and we will get it for you.
We have some fabulous new Ford cars and Dinosaurs as well as a new Australiana fabric called "Awesome Australia", which would have to be the best one yet.
Our new Block of the Month "Folk Style Sampler" is now available, this fabulous pattern is by
Michele Hill. Michele has a beautiful range of specialised "William Morris" patterns and has won many awards for her fabulous quilts and patterns. We are very happy to be able to stock her patterns. A large range of "William Morris" fabric are now in stock. Check out our other two current "Block of the Months", they are "Country Collectables" and "Everyday Angels". Unfortunatly we have now closed the "Japanese Traditions" as we are unable to get some of the fabrics.
We now have the full range of Cotton Blenders from SSS, you will have seen these in most of the recent magazines and they are proving to be very popular.
The full range of Thangles are now in stock. If you have never used these you are in for a treat. It is the fastest, easy and most accurate way to make half square triangles. Just cut your fabric into strips, pin the Thangles on, sew on the dotted line, cut on the solid line, tear off the thangles and press. You now have your finished HST. You will never make them the old fashioned way again once you have tried these.
To save you money we are happy to combine postage and sometimes are able to post for less than what the program estimates. Please email us if you are unsure on the postage quoted or are from outside of Australia. Unfortunatly we are not able to accept Cheques or Money Orders from overseas any more due to the extra charges put onto us by the Banks and Post office. Please be aware we don't accept American Express Credit cards.
Please remember to click on the thumbnail pictures to see them enlarged and clearer.
